From Supporting Roles’ upcoming full length debut, the Cronenbergian body horror-inspired 2xCS entitled Dysmorphia, “Encounters With Moths (Cocoon)” is the heaviest recording from the project yet, and also marks the first recorded addition of synthesizers into the Supporting Roles sound spectrum. Body horror recorded straight to tape.

Drenched in layers of distortion and punishing low frequency arpeggios, a subtle voice rings out in the distance. The sound of falling and trying to decipher the cries of the one who couldn’t hold onto you any longer. The abyss goes on and on so much that you wish you’d hit the bottom. And then it comes…

Dysmorphia is part of the next update of Passed Loves releases to kick off the oncoming year, including releases from Hullner, Aquatic Lurker, Young Wound, Blood In The Void, the Supporting Roles/Kinslayer collaboration, plus more. The update also includes new Distro items from Posh Isolation, Hospital Productions, and others.
